Bear with me....I'm a beginner!

It's finally come to the point where I must start a blog...or at least I feel like I should. However, I must warn you as I am a little behind and this is a first for me. I am excited to share everything that is happening with Savvy Coordination and the different events we have been a part of. My goal is to use this blog to communicate with those interested in our company as well as share different photos, tips and ideas.


Well, maybe I should be formal and introduce myself. I'm Jennifer Kahunahana, (formally Broussard) executive Planner of Savvy Coordination. I live in Hawaii on Oahu and am married to a local Hawaiian (hence the last name), Richard. Together we own Savvy Coordination. For the longest time, I envisioned my life going a different direction. I had always thought I would end up traveling and serving God with full time ministry. It was really by chance that I found the profession that I love. I started in the restaurant and catering world thanks to Dad. That is where I first got a taste of the magic of events! I eventually took a job as an event planner at the Hilton in my home state to get me through school and fell passionately in love with it. The rest is really history and here I am now in the wedding capital of the world planning weddings and events.  I get to do what I love while hopefully making a lasting impact in my client’s lives!  How truly blessed I am!
